| By this point several years ago, or so I believed, I should have been well aware of what I wanted to do with my life, so firm in my convictions that I would have already obtained a degree, found a place in one company or another, and possibly be working my way toward my first promotion, or what have you. It took me far too long to get over the idea that I was a failure for not achieving this ideal little scenario on time. I missed the most important deadline, so whoops, life is over. But Monty Python is better for life lessons than one might expect, and as the song says, I'm not yet dead. Shouldn't be so hard to remember, really, what with the breathing and all. Yet I have to remind myself far too often of an obvious truth, for the sake of my sanity.
